Banality of Evil Winners Awarding Ceremony
We are excited to announce the Banality of Evil in our Daily Lives Exhibition and Awarding Ceremony and Exhibition
The Open Call for art work submissions began in November 2019 and we received well over 500 submissions from talented artists from across the world.
The public voted for their favorite artist and the top 40 most voted artists went through to the final where the internationally accredited jury decided on the winners in each artistic category.
The exhibition was planned for May 2020 but due to Corona the organizers had to postpone the awarding ceremony and exhibition.
We are all excited that we finally are able to have the much anticipated prize handover and exhibition to showcase and honor these talented artists.
Please join us on the evening of 11th September as we celebrate the winners.
Limited tickets available due to social distancing rules and we will work on a first come, first serve basis, giving preference to artists who would like to attend in person.

About the Project: The Banality of Evil in our Daily Lives art competition is an open call for artists to communicate what they see as the banality of evil in our daily lives. It poses a challenge to communicate that which has never been communicated before and create a platform for groundbreaking ideas to be brought into our collectivity.
Artists the world over were invited to submit work that uses art as the language to communicate their hopes in creating a new vision for the world.
The competition aimed to provide inspiration and solutions that address the most important crisis that faces humanity today: the loss of our humanity.
The Banality of Evil in our Daily Lives is a unique art competition that has a strong emphasis on public engagement. The public was invited to moderate the selection of the first 40 art works by liking and sharing the messages presented on the BOE social media platforms.
From these 40 artworks the final contestants in each category was nominated by the elected jury members. Finalists are to receive a cash prize of US $ 2000 and are invited to exhibit their work at the exhibition in Berlin Germany at Alte Munze from 11th to 17th September 2020.
Works were entered in the categories of Painting & drawing, Photography & Digital Art, Sculpture and Performance art.
